For years it forwarded twelve paths to imedix.com and published nothing of its own. In August 2026 the iMedix editorial team removed every one of those redirects. This is the record of what was cut, and the reasoning that produced it.
It tells a search engine that one address has become another, and that whatever the first address earned should carry over to the second. When the first address published something real, the claim is true.
When it published nothing, the claim is a way of moving accumulated weight without having done the work that earns it. This domain was in the second category. It held link history, some of it from directories and networks iMedix did not build and would not choose. None of that history described anything a reader had used.
iMedix now applies a written standard to its pharmaceutical pages. Every claim about safety, dosing or regulatory status carries an inline source and a review date. Adverse-effect figures are attributed to the population that produced them, not presented as universal. Where evidence is absent, the page says so plainly instead of filling the gap with careful phrasing.
A domain that forwards traffic without publishing anything cannot meet a standard like that, because there is nothing on it to hold to the standard. Keeping these redirects would have meant applying one rule to what iMedix publishes and a different rule to what points at it.
No penalty, manual action or removal request preceded the decision. The editorial team reviewed how third-party domains connected to the main site and concluded that three of them, including this one, should be disconnected.
Saying so matters, because a removal made under pressure and a removal made on principle look identical from the outside. The only thing that separates them is when it happened. This one happened before anyone was looking.
